It is with a heart full of mixed emotions that I announce the sale of the boarding portion of the business. The facility that we built only (3) years ago, located at 845 S. Lapeer Road in Oxford, has been sold, along with the Boarding Business and the existing Veterinary Practice that resides in the building.
Rest assured that the boarding facility will remain private to Canine Academy Graduates only. We will continue to train GREAT dogs through Canine Academy and they will then be eligible to board at the private facility, now owned by Oxford Canine Club.
I am grateful that our clients will still have access to a private facility offering premier care to their GREAT dogs when they travel. I am also excited that we will now be able to dedicate all of our talents, time and energy to training good dogs into GREAT dogs!
As always, Canine Academy will have our Off-Leash Program, Classes and Day Training throughout all of our facilities; Legacy925 Office - Oxford, Oxford Training Center - 823 S. Lapeer - Oxford, Rochester Training Center -1478 N. Rochester - Rochester and Birmingham Training Center - 955 S. Eton - Birmingham.
We wish the best for the Team at Oxford Canine Club. We look forward to watching their success as they care for GREAT dogs in the years to come.
Mostly, thank you to the thousands of owners that have entrusted Canine Academy with the boarding care of their GREAT dogs over the past 22 years. It has truly been an honor to have your trust and support as Canine Academy has grown to become what it is today.
