How long have you worked for Canine Academy?

What is your favorite part of your job?
Meeting the new dogs on their first day and watching them turn into GREAT dogs. And of course, playing and bonding with each and every one of them.

Interests outside of work?
I enjoy sporting clays and trap shooting, golf, going to the gym, and spending as much time with my dog.

Volunteer work? Detroit Zoo - penguin and kangaroo exhibits, and Capuchin Soup Kitchen

Goals or personal information that will help clients know you?
I've always had a passion and love for all animals, knowing that one day I would turn my passion into a career. I'm a 2016 graduate of Central Michigan University. Before Canine Academy, I had the opportunity to intern in Bermuda training and working with dolphins.

Tell us about your pets:
Jaxson is a 13 year old Labrador Retriever. His name came from the city Jacksonville, FL, where our family resided for about 7 years. Jaxson has brought us all so much joy. He's a retired hunting dog and now enjoys most of his time sleeping, eating, and following everyone around the house.
