The Defever Family - "Tasha" Siberian Husky
The Canine Academy Off-Leash program is amazing! We have a Husky puppy named Tasha. We were told that Huskies cannot be trained and do not even think about it. We read that they were one of the hardest breeds to train and the most stubborn. That is the reason that we went to Canine Academy. We started with the Beginner Program and what a difference it made. Tasha could sit, stay, lie down, and complete all the Beginner commands. The one command, however, that she was being stubborn about was the come command. The one command that we needed her to know. We decided to send her to the Off-Leash Program. It was sad leaving her for that long, but when she came back, what a different dog! She was still her quirky self, but she listened and obeyed her commands. She now can run around our 40 acre horse farm and come back when called. She doesn't try and go into the horse pasture and she doesn't bother the cats. If you have any concerns about your dog, send him/her to the Off-Leash Program. It is amazing and well worth it. We plan on sending all of our dogs, no matter the breed, through the Program.
