“Tyrone”

The Maxwell Family – “Tyrone” Dogue de Bordeaux

After years of rescuing Bulldogs-often abandoned due to lack of training and behavioral problems-I became convinced that training the dogs we love is one of the greatest gifts humans can provide our canine companions.

Few people have the professional knowledge or luxury of time to devote to the type of training offered by Canine Academy. Dogs leave their initial training with good manners, increased confidence, a desire to please their humans...and a great number of new doggy buddies. Follow-up training sessions (mostly for humans) are a wonderful way to reinforce the training-and dogs benefit by getting to meet up with friends and "strut their stuff" at parks, outdoor concerts, city streets, and an occasional restaurant!

Deciding to take a break from bulldog rescue, my husband and I acquired a French Mastiff (Dogue de Bordeaux) puppy. We enrolled him in  Canine Academy at four months of age. We missed him during his training, but that was a small sacrifice for the happy, well-adjusted, well-behaved, well-loved, and loving dog we have today. We could not be more pleased, and we highly recommend Canine Academy. So does Tyrone. ☺.
